So I guess we have served our time in Jacksonville and God is ready for us to move on elsewhere. A few weeks ago we received an offer to head back to Kansas for Joey's work and we took it. That means the past two weeks have been full of in home moving estimate appointments, house searching, driving across the country in one day, exhaustion, time zone re-adjusting, and general stress :D We are definitely thrilled to be back in Kansas since we both consider it home, but I could do without the insane moving schedule! Oh well, such is life!
I had been recently feeling like our time in Jacksonville was coming to an end. It was this feeling that God had placed in my heart and I was simply waiting for Him to say where. I knew that Joey and I definitely wanted to move back to Kansas if possible, but I also knew we could have easily landed anywhere else. I prayed for guidance and for peace for wherever He placed us. I was thoroughly excited when God decided Kansas was our next stop!
So now after a little over a year and a half, we are headed back home. Who knows for how long, but I will take the opportunity to spend time with friends and family that we left behind, as well as do my best to help the family we are leaving in Florida deal with our separation :D We wish we could take them with us, but we can't, so we will simply have to do our best to email, text, call, and visit as much as possible!
